I have 3 adult Angoras available! These are beautiful fiber animals. They only need to be brushed once a month and sheared once every 3 months. The fiber you shear from these animals is very valuable and you can sell it to your local yarn shop. Or you can just keep your Angora as a family pet. They are bred to be very calm and gentle. Let me know if you are interested. I will teach you all you need to know.
Bean finally had her babies. There were very 9 but some have not made it. I think its hard for her to keep track of all of them! i always forget how teeny weeny they are at first but grow up so quickly. I have another classroom of children coming out to see them in May. What a treat. I am always amazed at how lucky I am to be able to witness all the beautiful births on this Farm in the Spring.
Feel a bit like two opposing gangs ready to take each other on in a fight right now in my back yard. Good thing is the lawn is getting fertilized and mowed and I didn't have to nag my husband! Spring is here . Lets get ready to RUMBLE! Photos of baby bunnies soon as I can get Mom off the nest :)
So exciting the babies have been born! Pictures will be forthcoming. If you would like to be added to the waiting list for your own rabbit let me know.:) Good time to start building or buying that perfect rabbit hutch.
Little baby Indigo seedlings popping up from the seeds I saved from last years crop. This is the first year I have been able to germinate them successfully! Yeah! I will be teaching my Indigo classes in August when I will be harvesting these plants. I have seen a lot of folks wearing Indigo tie dyed tank tops so we will be making our own Indigo tanks and scarves. I am looking forward to seeing all of you so keep checking our blog for upcoming dates and information!
