Mushrooms and rainbows

Today I finally was able to meet one of my heroes Alissa Allen! Alissa travels all over the Country teaching folks about mushrooms and all the benefits we can receive from them including beautiful dyes! She is an amazing expert on mushrooms that dye fiber and do all sorts of beneficial things for our world. Today we used over 10 different mushrooms and lichens to make this beautiful palate of colors. I can't wait to go out on Black Mountain Farm and forage for our own local mushrooms.
